Vicky Valverde-Salas, MD
Dr. Valverde-Salas was born in Ecuador and migrated to the USA as a young boy. New York City became his teenage playground until he moved to Massachusetts to attend college. While at MIT, his love for the life sciences led him to study medicine in the wilds of Wisconsin. After much toil and tribulation while trying to enjoy life as a student of medicine, he finally became a Family Medicine Physician.
“After 27 years of medical adventures, my love affair with Medicine continues to teach me the intricacies of life and open mysteries that I only hope to master but a few in my life time. Dancing, growing orchids, cooking, walking in nature and loving my wife and children are my personal interests that keep me true to my soul.”
Lindsay Agolia, MD (formerly Lindsay Zeichner)
Dr. Lindsay Agolia grew up in the Bay Area. After spending time traveling and exploring different areas of healthcare, she moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue her education. She attended the Seattle University for college, and then earned her Medical Degree from the University of Washington in 2008. A desire to be close to her family, as well as her interest in Latino health led her back to California to complete her residency training in Family Medicine. She happily joined Piedmont Primary Care in September 2013.
“My commitment to Family Medicine is strong, and I cherish the opportunity to provide every patient with compassionate care. I value the process of developing honest relationships, and hope that together we can improve the quality of your health and allow you achieve the most out of your life. I am passionate about providing quality primary care to my local community. Away from the office I spend my time cooking and eating delicious food with my husband, hiking the Oakland hills with my dog, and singing silly songs to my beautiful baby girl.”
